I think us humans…
Are the only species that has invented “reverse psychology”… You don’t see animals doing the opposite of what they mean to each other to trigger a certain type of response they want.
Are the only species that has invented “reverse psychology”… You don’t see animals doing the opposite of what they mean to each other to trigger a certain type of response they want.
The types who become so reliant on the ritual comforts of a relationship. Who’s moods depend on the amount of attention you give, or don’t give them. The kind that do not know how to adapt and who don’t know how to be happy with themselves. Because if you don’t give them the type of attention they want, they become an enhanced unhappy. Because they never got comfortable enough with themselves, comfortable enough to know, that it’s ok to be alone sometimes. To understand that being physically alone sometimes is healthy.
….It is the overdosing on the comfort of always being with someone, that has the potential to be unhealthy.
So please learn to be comfortable with yourself. It is the best thing you could ever do.

Wisdom for the day. Happy Friday guys!
Or who feel as though they are behind in where they think they are supposed to be… Don’t you worry. I assure you that you’re not behind. We all have an important roll in this place we call earth. No matter how small of a speck we may look, in comparison to the 7.5 billion other specks. We all have our own pace. None like the other. As our occurrences with experiences come to meet us at such different spans in our life. Just as they should.
There are places to go and people to meet and see. Do not stay in one spot and wait for good things to happen. You yourself have to make the first move. The more productive you are, the more chances you have. The more chances you have, the closer you are to becoming a better you. Sure you will fall a few times or more. But without falling you will never learn improvement. And do not discourage yourself and talk yourself out of giving yourself a chance. Because fooling yourself out of a chance is the biggest mistake you could ever make.
But remember one thing though. The smallest specks in this population, cause the biggest waves. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

Someone can announce their flaws to you. Not in embarrassment. Not in sadness. And not with pride. But because they really trust sharing them with you. With no regrets. Sharing them with you, with intentions of improving themselves. But knowing that they are sharing something that opens themselves for a shot of destruction, yet trusting you to not use it to destroy them. It’s brave. And that type of bravery is respectable.
First off… I just have to say that this is quite flattering. So thank you for thinking of me that way. Not just you but all others as well. But you especially for taking the time to say such a kind thing! Umm… I don’t consider myself “successful”. I believe that success is a ride that is never ending. It’s not something that can reach and then you stop when you get there. At least not for me. For me, I am never satisfied with myself and my growth. I always believe that I can grow just a bit more. Slowly but steadily and mentally. Mentally growing while also strangthening and sticking to my gutt.
Honestly, I did not get a job that had anything to do with what I went to college for. Not that I would encourage people to “not” go to college. College is great. There are things you learn from going to college. And there is definitely a type of social growth you retrieve from going to college. And in this economy degrees do matter when employers are comparing your resume to that of another candidate.
To put it simply. I came from a poor family and I did not have parents to spoil me or to pay for anything. But I always had my older siblings. So because I knew that I could not afford things, I had to learn how to attempt to launch success another way. I got where I am today from just genuinely knowing how to talk to people. Not certain types of people, not a certain group of people, not one country, not one ethnicity, not rich people, not poor people… But all people. I just tought myself how to speak to people in a universal way. In a way that can not be misunderstood, simple but straight to the point. And that tool has been the most helpful and the most useful to me in my life.
I got the job that I have today just from talking. I started off at a low entry level job with zero experience. A month before my interview, I was considering being drafted into the military. Because I lost a job and could not find one for about a year. I was desperate. So when I applied to this company… I applied assuming that I wouldn’t even have an interview. Because I knew it was a big company and I was way underqualified. I didn’t even have a degree related to the company. I kind of just said to myself “I have nothing else to lose. Why not apply? Even if it is out of my league”
So when they called me for an interview. I almost died of happiness because I knew there was hope that I would not have to resort to the military. And then when I was preparing for the interview… I just gave it my all. Because I knew that I had nothing to lose. And I told them “If you help take care of me… I promise! I promise that I will take good care of you guys! I may not have a degree in the field. But I assure you that I can learn anything you can teach me. I want to work for a company where I will learn. A company who’s employees are taken care of because the employees take care of them!”
And when they said I got the job. I nearly died. Haha! And then… I got very lucky. Because the company that hired me actually sent me to college and paid for it all. And they paid me hourly while I was in college. They put me in a certified program. And they said “If you don’t like it here. You still have the certification from school, and you can use that to work somewhere else”… Which is very cool. From that point on… I just have been preparing for if I were to ever lose a job due to the economy. From that entry level job for one department… I also talked my way into working for other departments for the company. I actually volunteered myself for interning for a seperate department, aside from my regular entry level job. And I got hired as a paid intern. But because I talk to other departments and build a trust with everyone, it opens the door for future opportunities.
The key to it all, is that you have to have the willpower to learn; from a combination of bad tunrouts, criticism, and good feedback. To be a better well rounded individual. So I believe in being very good with talking to people, networking yourself and investing into more than one job. And more importatly, being able to adapt to the economy. But also liking what you do… And I’ve found from experience, that what you go to college for, might not always be what you want to do later in life. I never thought in a million years, that I would have the job that I have now. When I was a kid, I hated the subject related to the job I have now. But from just working in the field, I have learned that I love it. Because of the people involved, and because of the ways it has allowed me to grow, in ways I never thought possible.
Every day.
If I could pass one thing on to the world. It would be this. Since I can’t really say it to everyone. I typed it. But this is how I live my life. Every day. Because it’s a lifestyle. I do not plan on ever being forgotten.
With job interviews, with work, potential job opportunities, with people I don’t know, with people who know me, with life. Keep it sincere. As long as you are sincere, being consistent will come naturally.
